It’s been a few weeks since I signed up for Swindon Open Studios 2023 and registration has now closed. There are 64 registered artists and studios opening their doors this Autumn with many more artists exhibiting as members of the studios. I, myself, will be part of a collective showing at The Barn in Stanton Park. There will 6 of us there and I’ll introduce you to them all in my next update.
Making a Start:
Since my previous post, Accountability, I have been busy making a start on my list of things to do and adding dates of when I’d like to have them completed by. It’s looking pretty manageable at the moment but we all know what can happen – famous last words spring to mind!
I’ve done a blog plan and made notes on each post so when I come to do them I can remember what I was talking about.
Thankfully, I’m not a slave to posting daily or even weekly on any of the social channels but have decided to make more of a concerted effort. I’ve created a social media plan with the aim of posting 3 times a week. I have a list of potential posts about me and my work and hope I don’t bore anybody with my ramblings. To make them easily recognizable I’ve been creating some brand style templates to use, it’s not essential but I enjoy doing it.
In an attempt to reach more local businesses, I’ve also singed up to LinkedIn. I’m still learning the ropes but getting there slowly. If you’d like to connect or follow me this is my profile. It’s been a busy couple of weeks but managed to tick off a couple of things, now to make a start on the literature!
A quick reminder if you haven’t already done so, the dates for your diaries are: 16th & 17th and 23rd & 24th September from 11am to 5pm. I will be exhibiting at The Barn, Stanton Park, The Avenue, Stanton Fitzwarren, SN6 7SF.
PS. In my downtime I’ve been working on the NEW Summer Collection and it’s nearly ready for launch!!
