This peeling paint on a wooden shed at Pythouse Kitchen Gardens caught my eye and will make a great texture.
I’ve been busy making some changes to the website in recent months but decided to take some time out this morning to make a colour palette of one of the Calla Lily’s I took a few months ago. I have been asked how I make them so I will be putting together a tutorial in the next few days.
Rich pinks of some spring wallflowers.
Vibrant colours of an alstromeria display at RHS Chelsea Flower show last month.
Some bright agate to brighten up a Friday afternoon.
I love the rich, warm colour and tones of old bricks revealing character and depth.
Feeling a bit chilly today so dug out an image I took of the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska last September and made it into a blue colour palette.
A cute 6 week old baby Morelet’s Crocodile taken on a workshop at the Cotswold Wildlife Park a few years ago. It’s probably a little bigger now 🙂 I love all the different shades of brown on its body, the 6 shades below are just a few of them.
What’s not to love this time of year than the fragrance from a freshly cut bunch of sweet-peas.
The thorax of a Giant Pomponia I was shooting in the studio recently.
