You name it - it's all here!

July 2026

July 2026 has been yet another hot month so when possible I’ve been in the office relatively to avoid the heat and the sun that will swamp it during afternoon! It’s with the best intention in the world but I’m not a morning person so it often goes out the window, thankfully the creations still flow!

Glam Catz

I started the month with something a little whimsical, this gorgous white glamour cat rocking her shades, pink ruff collar and necklace. A simple creation using a couple of elements blended together. This little lady is one of 6 Glam Catz that will be available as blank cards at this years Swindon Open Studios.

Hope

“Hope” depicts a young lady waiting in hope for the return of her loved one. It was created with 2 backgrounds, 2 elements and a figure. I added a blue photo filter to make the whole image cooler and to bring cohesion to the colour palette.

The Kiss

Another Klimt inspired piece thanks to the recent news that Lego will be releasing their latest wall art based on “The Kiss” by Klimt at the beginning of August. If Lego can do it then so can I 😃
My interpretation of “The Kiss” was created using the bird elements and 4 different backgrounds to make the paint splashed background.

Daydream Escape

It’s so easy to get lost in a book and allow the mind take us to other places, such is our imagination.

The young reader in “Daydream Escape” is doing just that, soaring high in an airballoon over the top of the church below whilst guardian angels sleep on obliviously to his daydream.

This image was created using 2 blended backgrounds and 7 different elements.

A little boy sat on a swing engrossed in his daydream escape.

I’m looking forward to what the 5 weeks of August will bring but in the meantime I’ve some new work to finish and print as time is racing by. Before I know it, it will be September and I’ll be rushing about trying to get ready for Swindon Open Studios 2026.
